Myrick, Gracie Captain-President Gracie has been riding all her life, starting off at pony camp and eventually owning her own Paint and showing locally. Last year she qualified for Regionals as well as Western Semi-finals in Pomona, California. As her last year on the team and this years President, she would like to welcome our largest team ever and hopes for a successful show season!

McDowell, MacKenzie Assistant Captain-Vice President McDowell is starting her Senior year at Western in which she is pursuing a major in both Communications and Journalism with a Public Relations focus. MacKenzie has been a member of the Equestrian Team since her Freshman year at Western in 2004. MacKenzie has been riding for 12 years and was previously an active member in both her 4-H and Pony Club based in her home town of Redmond, WA. She has shown, Western Pleasure, Huntseat, Jumping, and Eventing. She achieved her C-1 rating in her Pony Club. MacKenzie competes in Intermediate Huntseat equitation and Novice Huntseat equitation over fences for the Equestrian Team. She is excited for a great year with the team!

Flora, Grace Treasurer Grace started riding at Papetti Pastures at age ten and horseback riding quickly became her passion. She started doing horse camps, and eventually moved on to leasing and showing horses in 4H, Zone, and AQHA shows. She decided to attend WWU in large part to stay near her beloved horse, Bob, and to get involved with the Equestrian Team. Looking forward to her second year of IHSA competition, Grace hopes to qualify for Western Semi-finals...hosted this year by Texas A&M!
